Have you ever wondered where our delicious Belgian chocolate that we use for our sweet treats comes from?
We work exclusively with Callebaut; a company in Belgium that was founded in 1911. As many of you know, chocolate is made from cocoa beans, and Callebaut partners with Cocoa Horizons; a program designed to help cocoa farmers in West Africa build self-sustaining communities that protect nature and children.
Cocoa Horizons focuses on training and providing support to improve productivity through their farming schools. This assists in creating a financial safeguard for farmers and their families, by learning how to create a sustainable yield production.
